Endowed Professorship Application

Applications for Endowed Professorships are considered once each academic year in the spring.

Deadline to submit an application is December 1, 2023.

Each professorship awards a spending allocation each year for up to a three-year term. The total professorship allocation will vary each year as the allowance is determined annually by the UL Foundation, based on the investment performance of the endowment.  Award notifications will be sent out by early May, after the spending allocation is determined by the UL Foundation.

The faculty member may request a summer stipend for research, and creative endeavors, with approval from their academic dean, up to the equivalent of summer pay for one course according to rank, or no more than 40% (including fringe).
