Faculty Salary Study

The University recently completed a faculty salary study designed to provide a clearer, more data-informed understanding of faculty compensation across campus. Rather than relying on broad institutional averages, the study examined salaries by academic rank and discipline, allowing for more meaningful comparisons to peer institutions and regional benchmarks. This approach recognizes that market conditions can vary significantly across fields and faculty roles.

The study also considered internal equity as part of its review and helps establish a stronger baseline for future planning. By using rank- and discipline-specific data, the University is better positioned to assess compensation trends, support retention and recruitment efforts, and inform future decisions as resources allow.
