UNIV 200 - General Information
Students completing UNIV 200 will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic electronic communication skills, as measured by the ability to use web-based email and a learning management system (i.e. Moodle).
- Search electronic sources for information.
- Collect, evaluate, and utilize retrieved data to advance arguments.
- Access and use information sources ethically and legally.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of word processing and presentation applications.
- Demonstrate the ability to use database management and spreadsheet applications at a basic level.
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate word processing, presentation, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
Course Fee
The course carries a $95 course fee, which covers SimNet, the online ‘textbook’, testing and grading software used in the course, as well as ongoing technological requirements of the course.
