To support faculty research and scholarship, the $100,000 grant program will fund faculty travel to national and international conference presentations of original scholarship. Eligible faculty members are those who hold graduate faculty appointments or are on tenure-track. Awards will range from $500-$1,000 with the higher award level going to graduate faculty who teach and/or research in a doctoral program.
Factors in determining the award amount include:
- professorship holders
- graduate faculty status
- stature of conference
- contribution to a faculty
- department’s or college’s members development mission
- funding need
- tenure status
Applications may be submitted throughout the Academic Year and proposals will be reviewed on the last business day of each month.
