The UL Lafayette Alumni Association and the Graduate School are pleased to announce the finalists for the UL Lafayette Alumni Association Outstanding Master’s Graduate Award. This university-wide award was established to honor excellence by a graduating Master’s student in academic performance, research, and overall contribution to the graduate program and/or field of study as well as professional engagement and service, student or professional leadership, and community service.

Over the past semester, graduate programs from across the University nominated Master's students graduating this December for the award. Please join me in congratulating the finalists select for this award, their faculty, and their graduate programs. The finalists include:

  • Nathan Abbott, Music
  • Nadine Bayard, MBA
  • James Blankenship, Nursing
  • Benjamin Magallon, Architecture
  • Zheng Zhang, Petroleum Engineering   

The UL Lafayette Alumni Association's Awards committee has conducted interviews with these finalists and, from them, shall select this semester's recipient. These outstanding graduates will be recognized at the Fall 2015 commencement General Assembly, and at that time the winner will be recognized.
