To support faculty research and scholarship, the $100,000 grant program will fund faculty travel to national and international conference presentations of original scholarship. Eligible faculty members are those who hold graduate faculty appointments or are on tenure-track. Awards will range from $500-$1,000 with the higher award level going to graduate faculty who teach and/or research in a doctoral program. Factors in determining the award amount include: professorship holders, graduate faculty status; stature of conference; contribution to a faculty, department’s or college’s research agenda; funding need; and tenure status. Priority consideration will be given to faculty who do not hold a professorship.
