As of February 2016, the University has 70 programs for which accreditation is mandated or recommended by the Louisiana Board of Regents. Sixty-eight of those programs are currently accredited; one is awaiting news of the most recent accreditation review. Only one program for which accreditation is "recommended" — BA Organizational Communication — has not sought accreditation. One program for which accreditation is "optional," the Post Master's Certificate in Healthcare Administration, has that accreditation.
Of 56 programs for which accreditation is mandated, 55 are accredited (the 56th is awaiting the results of a fall visit). Also, of 14 programs for which accreditation is recommended, 13 have accreditation; the 14th has not sought accreditation.
